Virginia Beach Car Sales: What Every Car Buyer Should Know

Author: admin

Before Making A Purchase

Like most car dealers Virginia Beach car lots are filled with dream cars that passerby’s instantly drool over. Convertibles sports cars SUVs and pickup trucks fill the lots beckoning to visitors to make a deal. However there is more to visiting a car lot than simply finding that dream car and handing over the money. Buying can end up being an expensive use of time and money if you haven’t done the necessary homework.

Know Your Budget

Identifying your financial limit is perhaps the most important bit of information when working with car dealers. Car dealers make it easy to overspend so know what you can afford to spend and take off an extra 10 20. This way you have room to negotiate the best price without going over your comfort zone.

Learning what other Virginia used cars are selling for is another important prepurchase step. This will provide you with a reasonable ballpark figure as well as an indication of whether that type of vehicle fits your budget. In addition research should be done locally since vehicles are priced according to the local market. For example when searching listings for used auto sales Virginia Beach car sales on convertibles will have different prices than those in New York simply due to the variation in consumer demand and location.

Needs vs. Wants

The wide variety of vehicles found at Virginia Beach car dealerships can easily tempt you into looking at the wrong car. Before arriving at the lot you need to think about the type of vehicle your lifestyle and family need. If you have a family of six who like to go camping for instance a small sports car could make life very interesting! You also want to consider any life changes you will be making in the near future to avoid having to resell the vehicle shortly after bringing it home.

Get to Know the Fine Print

Whether you are hunting for new or used cars there can be hidden time bombs throughout the sales process waiting to catch you when you aren’t looking. Common sales pitches like “If you want it you’ll have to buy it now” or “There are others coming to look at it today…” are purely designed to encourage irrational decisions. Financing and extended warranty can also be very tricky. Be sure that you completely understand every detail before signing to avoid paying out money unnecessarily. Thinking that all salespeople are out to get you is completely false but educating yourself about some of the dangers out there today is the best way to stay protected.

The secret to buying a new or used vehicle is to be informed before you go. Understanding what you can afford and what type of vehicle you need is important to make sure you are satisfied with the car you buy. With a little bit of knowledge and money you will be driving away in no time.

They do it for fun because it is funny to play around with things that one should not play! But still there are some persons that give to used car parts yet a different utilization and construct with them arte nuevo very expensive and like the functional droid quite bizarre.
Some others find nice to decorate their livings their rooms their spaces with used car parts and think it is cool to have the used car parts as ornaments. Payday Loans

Foreclosure is always a hard thing and a race against time. Although a loan modification can slow the process you have fewer options the longer you wait. Not all lenders have the staff or experience to handle mortgage loan modifications. Even with a capable attorney the process can drag on for months. And this does not help much when you need money fast

But you dont have to sit and wait. There are some things you can do to speed up the process. These are the best things to do

1. Check online that are small loans that can cover your needs. The benefits of this option are:

No fax
This is a very fast process that dont need any fax with details and personal information. The loans can be accessed in 24 hours. For those who needs fast loans for their emergency needs or for those who dont have a fax machine.

No credit check
This is for those who cannot take a loan because of their credit rating. They are short term and they dont do usually do credit checks on customers

Instant
They are fast loans that are usually only run for a short time and they are paid back when an individual is paid at work.

2. Put everything on paper and keep files. Its not uncommon for lenders especially smaller ones to lose track of your application. To prevent delays make sure all your efforts are documented and kept on file. This includes all the calls you make and receive both from your lender and loan modification attorney.

2. Do your own financial statements. Part of every home loan modification is a financial worksheet which will be your main basis for qualification. Most lenders have their own forms but it wont hurt to make your own as well. If your lender insists on using their worksheet at least youll have all the information ready.

3. Keep all your bills. The financial worksheet will require you to dig up old bills and hold on to the ones that keep coming. This will help you keep the information as accurate as possible. Even if they dont ask for it its best to include them anyway.

Be sure to submit as much truthful and verifiable information to your loan modification attorney.

Speed awareness courses: do they work?

By Sarah-Jayne Harrison

Analysis

25 November 2010 13:39

Speed awareness courses are being offered by a growing number of counties in England. I should know: I’ve just been on one this morning. I took part in one that’s been run by the local Cambridgeshire and Peterborough councils for the past six years.

Mine was a typical story: I was once again late on my way to work, it was first thing in the morning and I was a bit dozy. A fixed camera caught me doing 36mph in a 30mph. But when the ticket landed a few weeks later, I was offered a speed awareness course where I could spend a morning being taught why speed kills for the price of a ticket (£60) but – important this – no points on my licence.

Road accidents in the UK: the grizzly stats

British road accidents and deaths fell to their lowest ever recorded in 2009, we were told by our instructor (who worked for the AA): there were 222,146 casualties, 24,690 serious injuries and 2222 people killed last year. She said part of the cause for the fall was the rising cost of petrol, people working longer hours in a recession and many having to curb their driving as household and business budgets ran low. Yep, the recession made our roads safer.

We still speed though. A conservative-sounding 55% of us exceed limits on motorways (despite motorway collisions making up just 4% of all collisions and 6% of road deaths) and the most bumps and scrapes occur on urban roads. Yet 69% of us speed in built-up areas.

I was caught just 6mph over the limit and although I’m (hopefully) more aware than most drivers of stopping distances, now I’ve been showed pictures of accident scenes in today’s speed awareness course, I’m sure I’ll take more care over my speed in the coming months.

Speed cameras: still a blight on UK roads?

Inevitably, plenty of chat at the speed awareness course centred on the always controversial speed cameras. We were told that rules on where these can be placed have changed recently and local authorities can only install Gatsos in place where three or more serious accidents have taken place in the past year.

And get this: each camera cost a council £23,000 – and that’s purely for installation rather than ongoing maintenance and film costs. Yes, many of the cameras in Cambridgeshire will be empty to save cost. And you thought that non-digital cameras had been relegated to the back of your cupboard!

In 2007 £126 million was spent installing cameras nationally. Sounds a lot, until you realise that £20 billion was spent mopping up accidents and patching up casualties.

One of the hardest-hitting speed adverts of all time was the one with the little girl where the video was reversed and she was dragged across the road backwards. It was funded by the very cameras we motorists often snub. After today’s course, I still doubt their efficacy on motorways, but see their need in built-up areas.

So do speed awareness courses actually work?

Yep. It’s an effective way of reaching motorists who may not have had an ounce of tuition since they passed their test years – or even decades ago. For that alone, it’s a good way of training up our drivers, as Gavin Green advocated earlier this week.

For that educational purpose alone, speed awareness courses are a great idea. That they let you trade knowledge for points on your licence is merely the icing on the cake. Just got to remember now that I can’t take another speed awareness course for the next three years…

Audi RS3 (2010) first official pictures

By Robby Tyler

First Official Pictures

22 November 2010 08:00

Audi has today published its first official pictures of the much-scooped RS3 Sportback.

As we predicted, the RS3 adopts the 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine from the TT RS. With 335bhp on tap Audi can, for now at least, stake a claim to the hot hatch top trumps.

So the new Audi RS3 is one fast machine?

Of course. Audi quotes a 0-62mph time of just 4.6 seconds. It's not so many years ago that this would be supercar-flattening accelaration.

Top speed is unsurprisingly limited to 155mph. Should you need to shave off all that speed swiftly the RS3 comes standard with massive 14.5-inch discs on the front and 12.5-inch at the rear.

Being an Audi, Quattro four-wheel drive is standard. Let's hope it's good, as the RS3's ESP can be switched off entirely.

No manual 'box is available and all RS3's come with Audi's seven-speed S-tronic dual-clutch transmission, complete with paddle-shift change and launch control.

How will people tell that the RS3 is not a regular A3?

Differentiating the RS3 from a regular A3 are polished titanium-look 19-inch alloys, matt aluminium-look mirrors and a roof spoiler.

Look even closer and you may spot the rear diffuser insert, twin exhausts and various RS3 badges scattered around the bodywork.

The cabin is pepped up by RS3 logos aplenty, leather sport seats with silver stitching and a flat-bottomed leather multi-functional steering wheel.

Interestingly, the RS3 also comes with a lap timer. Should make for an interesting conversation if you get your collar felt by Plod and it's turned on.

When can I get my hands on the RS3?

The order books open in December 2010, with first UK deliveries expected in April 2011. The cost of laying your hands on one will be £39,900.

Vauxhall Corsa - first photos of the 2011 facelift

First Official Pictures

24 November 2010 00:01

Vauxhall has today issued the first pictures of the new, facelifted-for-2011 Corsa supermini. There's a dash of Insignia flair at the front, but very little else changes on the revised Vauxhall Corsa.

The new nose of the 2011 Corsa finally ditches the old-fashioned Vauxhall V-grille, replaced by the newer chrome bar with a prominent Griffin badge like on the new Insignia and Astra.

And in a step back to the 1990s, Vauxhall has rediscovered its tubes of toothpaste paint. That lively new Lime Green is a throwback to the lurid peppermint green that adorned the bubble Corsa, while adventurous types can choose Chilli Orange or Guacamole and Sunny Melon.

What else is new on the 2011 Corsa?

Those swollen headlamps are much bigger than before, echoing the lights on the latest Meriva, and there's a broader lower grille (shades of Mazda?) to distinguish the new Corsa from the old. Daytime running lights are standard across the range, in anticipation of the 2011 legislation making them mandatory in Europe.

Inside the 2011 Vauxhall Corsa, the cabin is predominantly carried over. New seat trims are lavished and a flurry of detail changes - new door trims, redesigned centre consoles and air vent rings - aim to freshen up the cabin of this four-year-old design.

A new (but optional) Touch & Connect multi-media system is available, offering a five-inch touch screen, 3D mapping and iPod and Bluetooth connectivity.

When can I buy the new Vauxhall Corsa?

First deliveries will happen in February 2011, priced from £9995 at the new 20% VAT tax rate hitting UK consumers from January 2011. Vauxhall says that removing the tax rise, prices have risen between just £60-£75.

The Corsa is an important car for Vauxhall; it's the second biggest selling model in the range, after the Astra.

Perhaps the Corsa has always missed the class plaudits, but there are some noteworthy highlights in Vauxhall's supermini range. Not least the 1.3 CDTi Ecoflex model which pumps out a meagre 94g/km of CO2 and quaffs diesel at a teetotal 78.5mpg.
